When he got home from school he walked into the living room where his brand new bike sat, ran over to it and said "Sweet, present time!" He opened all the presents (the whole time telling Luke that they were his new toys and that he couldn't have a turn yet). Right when he got done opening presents he wanted to make the pizza. With Damon's expertise and his beautiful pizza making skills we managed to turn out some pretty yummy pizzas! The kids had tons of fun and it is definitely an activity we will do regularly. We also made rice krispy treats since we will do the cake at Cole's birthday party. He didn't expect us to put candles in the rice krispies-his reaction was so fun-he LOVED it! We had a really good day-even if it means that I have a six year old!

I love these pictures! It was so fun seeing Cole on his birthday. He was just so excited and cute. I can't believe that he is six either. Ruby loved the party. I also loved the cake. Sorry for making that stupid remark about not liking the frosting, I thought that it was the shortening kind, that makes you feel kind of sick after eating it.
LOVE the pizza idea! My friend Kristi stayed with my kids for an evening and made mini individual pizzas with the kids using refrigerator dough flattened out (those tubes that pop) as the pizza dough. They could not have been more thrilled with making their own. Cole and the twins look like they're having a blast!
How was the party? I'm sure it was a blast! Sorry we couldn't make it ;)
Happy Birthday, Cole! Mindy, I can't believe you have a six year-old either. CRAZY! We wish we could have come to the party. Yummy pizza. I wanted to make pizza tonight, but barely made it Saturday-who's the kid in this house?!?
